I love award show season! Do you? Everything about it is right up my interests. There’s stunning fashion, primetime celeb viewing, and all kinds of unexpected moments. These few months of one award show to the next are golden to me. For a bit of shameless self promotion, catch my A+ witty commentary at @KatiRose13 on Twitter during event nights if you’re ever curious. Out of all the various award shows, The GRAMMYs are always my favorite. I think it’s mainly the non-stop performances, but I feel like the celebrities being less inhibited and more buckwild help too. That behavior creates award show wins. I’m not talking about the tiny metallic statues either.
When I’m not attending The GRAMMYs and pretending to be a celebrity in my own right I’m watching music’s biggest event with a few of my closest friends. What do a bunch of 20-somethings do with any get together? Add some alcohol and make a drinking game out of it of course! Let me introduce you to The GRAMMYs 2015 Drinking Game! Even if you don’t drink alcohol feel free to join in on the fun with some sparkling juice or beverage of choice!
I’ve selected the artists and moments I thought would best bring the entertainment during the evening. It’s all the usual suspects in Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and somehow Kim Kardashian too.
Feel free to print off copies and use at your own GRAMMYs party! Go ahead and even share, stumble, tweet, and pin the game board to your heart’s desire. The more that join in the merrier playing The GRAMMYs Drinking Game will be! (Yes, I’ll be playing along on Twitter too.) Remember as the game says – drink responsibly and follow all age laws please. Most of all, HAVE FUN! If you participate, you’ll have to let me know what you thought about the game. Next year I’m thinking about creating GRAMMYs Bingo!
I’m looking most forward to the Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, QuestLove, and Herbie Hancock performance! Plus, Ed Sheeran winning all his nominated categories of course. I wish the rock category got more substance and airtime so The Arctic Monkeys could actually play and make my day too, but oh well. Maybe one year. What are you most excited to see at The GRAMMYs?
What actions do you think would be good additions to this game card?
Tomorrow is finally the big reveal post! A look behind the scenes of that one time I lived out my dreams and attended the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
P.S. – Since the upcoming GRAMMY Awards are celebrating 2014’s biggest music moments, why don’t you learn why 2014 was the year celebrities and the word feminist collided.
Until next time,
