Some bloggers have stories to share about exotic vacations or exciting announcements. My life is a little more average, but I’ve learned through the years that readers still enjoy hearing about it. Here I am to talk about all those ground breaking matters on what I’m thinking, eating, watching, and more. This month features Harry Styles, home renovation, and s’mores.
I am thinking every other month for these Life Lately posts. That way, I can share a bit about what’s going on personally, without scrapping the bottom of the barrel for things to write about. While I would get offended if you ever called me boring, I honestly think I would struggle to come up with things I, myself, would consider worthwhile for anyone else to read on a more frequent basis. I have a snooze bias against my own life, even if others don’t feel that way.
In a bout of good news and an update from February, after four X-Rays and an MRI (talk about my wallet crying) I found out the knee pain I was experiencing wasn’t a torn meniscus meaning no surgery! There are some things I do need to do, but it was still a major relief.
Thinking…seriously about an entire blog redesign. The current version of Constantly Seeking Wonder is over three years old. A little refresh would do it well, especially since I am committed to writing here once again. Don’t worry – everything you know and love will still stay the same.
Eating…all the Ben & Jerry S’mores ice cream. It’s a limited edition found only at Target and YUM. Other people seem to agree with me since it has been near impossible to find. Knowing it won’t be around forever, I may need to stock up.
Watching…my new favorite home renovation show: Nate and Jeremiah By Design on TLC. Centering around interior designers Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, who also happen to be husbands, as they help homeowners who are in over their heads with money pits. I watched the entire first season in one day and in eight episodes there wasn’t a single house I didn’t absolutely love – even when it wasn’t my style. Their humor, snark, and personalities shine. Their daughter, Poppy, brings a heaping dose of adorable with her appearances as well. The second season just premiered and airs Saturday evenings at 10pm/9pm CT, right after the Trading Spaces revival.
Researching…great spots in Nashville! (Send me your recs please.) I think I’ll be able to spend my birthday down there visiting a great friend and exploring a new spot.
Listening…to Harry Styles. Why am I going to Nashville in June you ask? To see Mr. Styles in concert, which happens to be on said birthday. Talk about perfect. When he launched his 2018 tour, Harry treated fans to two new songs. Both are fabulous. Knowing I get to see them performed live (multiple times) is leaving me with a feeling of I. CAN’T. WAIT.
Reading…lots of new links for my next installment of Weekend Coffee Break. Did you catch the new feature I launched this past Saturday? I personally love round-up posts and hope to turn mine into a place to find the best of the best in what the internet has offered with pop culture, music, and a bit of everything in between.
Cursing…this Minnesota weather. I know I sound like a broken record, but we had literal blizzard conditions with over a foot of snow. I’m just…over it.
Needing…to-do a lot of things. Does anyone else ever feel like they never have enough time to complete a seemingly never-ending list?
Excited…that Avengers: Infinity War comes out in only a few days! Well there are more than a few Marvel superheroes that I couldn’t care less about, my favorite will also all be making an appearance. Will you be seeing it?
Tell me, what’s new in YOUR life?
P.S. – Speaking of Marvel, remember how I fell down that rabbit hole in the first place?
Until next time,
